Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Monterey Bay GI Consultants, a premier gastroenterology specialty group on the Monterey Peninsula, is seeking to hire a qualified and enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.

Currently, our practice consists of 12 physicians, 4 NPs, and 1 PA, with 2 offices and ambulatory surgical centers in Monterey and Salinas. This position is for a full-time provider, primarily in the office setting, with a few weeks per year assisting with hospital coverage. 

Applicants should have the following qualifications: 
- A graduate of NP/PA program approved by the Board of California 
- Current and unrestricted license as NP/PA in the state of California 
- A Federal DEA controlled substance registration 

Preferred Qualifications: 
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records 
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills 
- Experience in an office / hospital setting 
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not necessary 

Job Type: Full-time 
Pay: $160,000 - $180,000.00 per year (Depending on Experience)
